REGISTRATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS
REGISTRATION
Live Stream registrations will be accepted until 19 March 2024, midnight AEST.
Live stream registration entitles you to view keynote addresses, plenary sessions and concurrent sessions that are held in the main room of the conference. You will not be able to access concurrent sessions held in other rooms.
PAYMENT CONDITIONS
All payments are to be made in AUD. Please indicate the participant’s name and “HNSW24” on all EFT payments.
Full payment of all items is required within 14 days when registering (by credit card or by bank transfer).
From Monday 11 March 2024 only payments by credit card will be accepted.
All payments made by bank transfer must include any relevant bank fees (if applicable – from overseas accounts), Homelessness NSW is not liable for any bank fees and this must be taken into consideration when transferring the payment amount, shortfall payments will be considered as outstanding payments.
GST (Goods & Services Tax)
Registration fees include 10% GST. Tax invoices issued will indicate total GST included in the transaction.

Credit card: Australian MasterCard, Visa and Amex are accepted and incur a 1.8% surcharge

Any bank fees associated with the transfer is the responsibility of the customer. All payments are to be made in Australian Dollars (AUD)

Payment by personal cheque is not accepted.
REGISTRATION / MODIFICATION / CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
Modification policy
Any registration modification requests must be received in writing sent to the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
Transfer of registration
As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation. Registration transfers must be sent in writing sent to the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
Cutoff date for transfers March 18, 2024.
Delegate Cancellation
All delegate cancellation requests must be received in writing sent to the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
Cancellations received on or before 31 January 2024 will be refunded less a 25% cancellation fee to cover administration costs.
No registration refunds will be made after this date.
Delegates may transfer their registration to another person, but this request must be received in writing sent to the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
EVENT POLICY
Postponed event policy
In the event the Conference is postponed, existing paid registrations will automatically be transferred to the new Conference dates. For existing paid registrations, you will receive communication confirming the successful transfer of your registration. If you do not wish to proceed, notification in writing will be required within 30 days from the announcement date to receive 100% refund. After this date, the standard cancellation policy will be applied.
Cancelled event policy
100% refund is applicable in the event of Conference cancellation (excluding fees and bank charges).
Force Majeure
If, because of war, fire, strike, event venue construction or renovation project, government regulation, public catastrophe, Act of God, or the public enemy, the Event or any part thereof is prevented from being held or is cancelled by Organisers, Organisers in its sole discretion shall determine and refund to the Delegate. In no case shall the amount of the refund to the Delegate exceed the amount of the fee paid.
Force Majeure means any occurrence or non–occurrence as a result of which Organisers or Vendors are prevented from or delayed in proceeding with the Event and that is beyond the reasonable control of Organisers or Vendors, including forces of nature and action or inaction by a government agency. Intervening Event means an event of Force Majeure or a major terrorist strike in the City of the Event before the commencement date of the Event.
Indemnification by Attendee
Attendee agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless:
a. Homelessness NSW
b. Conference Works Pty Ltd
c. Other organisations and companies engaged by Homelessness NSW to deliver Event, their respective directors, officers, employees, agents, subsidiaries and affiliates for all claims, issues, expenses, liabilities and damages arising out of or related to any:
i. negligence, gross negligence, or willful misconduct; and
ii. damage or charge to property of any of the parties above by act or omission of the Sponsor, its employees, agents or guests that attend the Event.

Privacy statement
The provided name and contact information, including electronic address, may be used by parties directly related to the event such as the organisers and approved stakeholders, for relevant purposes such as promotion, networking, and administration of this and future events of this type. If you do not consent, please email the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
In addition, your name, organisation, email address and country/state of origin may be published on the delegate list which may be provided to delegates, exhibitors and sponsors at the Conference. If you do not wish your details to be included in this list, please email the conference organiser, on behalf of Homelessness NSW at events@conferenceworks.com.au.
Email communication
By providing your email address during registration, you consent to be contacted by this method to receive important updates regarding attendance of the event.
Live Streaming
I agree not to record (directly or indirectly), download, modify, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, or distribute in any way this event in whole or in part.
I understand that I am to ensure that my technical elements are up-to-date, and that I am to have a strong internet connection in order to experience a high-quality livestream.
Once you have completed your registration, you will receive your registration confirmation by email. Please ensure that your valid email is entered correctly on the registration form.
